This main character is Truman. Truman lived an ideal life, however he gradually started to realise his days were cartoonish. As the story commences, Truman started to unpick the unrealistic  life that was set out for him, and he realises his life was documented for everyone to see. His life was a facade. Truman show represents a powerful metaphor that combats societal normality.

We know this is a film poster because you can see the protagonist is right in front of you, in other words the main character. It tells the audience that this character is the films focus.

The film was directed by Peter weir. The star is Jim Carrey, you can see that he is being plastered on the front cover which implies importance on his role in the story. The studio, distributors, the theatre, the investor, the actors and streaming services like Netflix, -are the ones that will be getting the most money.

The target audience is a debatable subject as teenagers may watch it because they can relate to the feeling being watched and the lack of privacy in the modern age and adults may watch it for its deep philosophical themes. We can tell by the themes of this show and what we see throughout it.

The people represented in the film is a white middle aged man who seems to be having some psychological issues upon realising that his whole life was a lie.
